Dear Becca & Grant, Well, I missed the kids this weekend something fierce but I did get some stuff done which wouldn't have happened if I had the kids. I mowed the lawn, trimmed around stuff with the weed eater, edged the sidewalks and even clipped the hedges. Of course I ended up cutting the wire of my expensive noise reduction headphones in two. That made me a bit ticked off. I also cleaned out the garage and am now able to get that new car in out of the elements. Oh how I wish I had never bought that car. I then cam inside and after a half an hour break I spent about two hours cleaning the house.
Today I went to the grocery store and bought about twenty-one dollars worth of stuff and to Wok-n-Go for some Chinese food to eat while I looked at some television. I watched an episode of Monk, and episode of Psych and an episode of Eureka. I also did some laundry while I watched television. The washer wouldn't work on the second load but after it cooled down some it did work. I think it may be going shot which is not really something I'm real happy about right now.
We had lots of fun a few weeks back when Mamaw, Papaw, the kids and I went to the Louisville Zoo. I remember going to the Knoxville Zoo when I was just a wee lad and I loved it. I went to the Jacksonville Zoo when I was courting my first ex-wife and I didn't enjoy that one as much. It was in the dead heat of the summer in Florida so you can imagine how hot it was and it stunk to high heaven. I really enjoyed the Louisville Zoo though. I love seeing all the exotic animals. My favorite was the gorillas. They also had pygmy hippos near the gorillas and I was looking forward to seeing them but I never did. I will be taking the kids back there often and I am sure I will see them soon enough. Becca had a good time as well. She enjoyed the petting zoo which I thought was kind of lame. All they had were goats. Growing up I had all the goats I could stand on account of my grandfather, Bambi Dee raising goats. They have an awesome splash park at the zoo called Glacier Run. That's what Becca enjoyed the most; that and the train ride around the zoo. She loves a train. She also loved the conservation carousel they had there as well. She liked that kind of stuff more than the animals. I liked seeing all the animals. Maybe I'm just a big kid.
Well, I think Mamaw & Papaw are coming over and bringing some fish from Long John Silvers with them so I had better get off of the computer, I prefer Captain D's fish though. Daddy loves Rebecca & Grant!
